Interview with Mrs. Funmilayo

Funmi is a Pan-Africanist; a Nigerian by Divine Design. She is a Career

Development Facilitator and the Executive Director of Save a Child Save a Nation

Foundation. Her vision is for every young person, regardless of gender or

socioeconomic standing, to come into their own, with the possibility of avoiding

the mistakes of the generations before them.

Funmi has a B.Sc Honours in Politics with Economics from the University of Bath

and an M.Sc in African Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies,

UK. She is committed to African development with a strong focus on the

transformation of the education sector starting from Nigeria. She is a Young

Reformers Program (YRP) Fellow of the Incubator Africa Education Hub and has

given presentations and organised workshops on career development for young

people as well as volunteered as a Child Protection facilitator. She is a member

of the Counseling Association of Nigeria (CASSON).

Funmi is married to Biodun Olaore and is proud homemaker and mother of two

children.
